Writer users can now see tracked footnote changes within the footnote area of documents, while another related improvements sees edited lists now able to display their original numbers when viewing tracked changes. If you want a stable version with LanguageTool, my advice is to use LO 7.3.6 and LanguageTool 5.9 add-on downloaded from Apache OpenOffice extensions (the latest version available from LibreOffice extensions is 5.7, outdated).Other suite-wide improvements include a new search field for the Extension Manager, help pages for the ScriptForge scripting library, and other performance and compatibility improvements. Read this post for the complete story and workarounds: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=383997 Ĭoncerning LanguageTool, it is available as an add-on for LibreOffice 7.3.6, while it is integrated in LibreOffice 7.4.x but with the "integrated" version there is a limit on the text size to be corrected (10,000 characters free and 100,000 characters pay) and your text is no longer private (text sent to LanguageTool servers for correction). LibreOffice, Fresh or Still, is also available as an AppImage and you can ever cook your own AppImage. (see flatpak tutorial here: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=368501).
